Lost and Found: A Twin’s Journey

Lost and Found: A Twin’s Journey Twin sisters torn apart by betrayal and fate find their way back to each other through unexpected twists and the kindness of a stranger. A story of survival, forgiveness, and new beginnings. Hannah and Kathy were twin sisters studying at the same college. One day, Hannah borrowed Kathy’s car and drove off with her friends, leaving Kathy to take the bus home. But that night, Hannah didn’t return—and she wasn’t answering any calls. Meanwhile, Kathy was struggling too. A supposed friend gave her a drink that made her dizzy, and she passed out. When she woke up three days later, she was locked inside a strange apartment. Panicked, she broke the loose lock, fled down the stairs, and escaped the building. Later that day, when Hannah finally arrived home, disheveled and dirty, Kathy didn’t recognize her. Mistaking her for a beggar, Kathy shut the door in her face. Hurt and alone, Hannah went to her friends’ houses, but none of them helped. Exhausted a...

Cris Doodling Series

Cris Doodling Series

“Cris Doodling Series” takes young readers on a whimsical journey through the imagination of Cris Alberto—a boy whose drawings magically come to life! From talking animals and playful pranks to heartfelt lessons and dreamy adventures, each short story bursts with wonder, laughter, and surprises. Whether it’s a frog in the living room, a squirrel with a sweet tooth, or a thief with a kind heart, these tales remind us that creativity holds the power to change the world.

What Is Cris Doodling?

Cris Alberto loves to draw. His crayons aren’t just colors — they’re magic. Whenever Cris doodles, the world around him changes. The red car he drew once gave him a ride through busy city streets. A red balloon lifted him into the clouds. At the zoo, his bear doodle reached down, picked him up gently, and carried him high above the crowd. With each sketch, Cris’s imagination takes him on a new adventure — one more magical than the last.

1. Snake on the Twig

While building a sandcastle, a girl discovered a stick wrapped in what looked like a soft black wire. As she unwrapped it, the wire began to slither. It was a real snake! Terrified, she dropped it, and the snake slid inside her castle and vanished. The shock made her cry — and she never played in the sandpit again.

2. Squirrel and Kit-Kat

One snowy day, a squirrel appeared outside the window and snatched a Kit-Kat bar from the sill. She returned again and again, munching on almonds and chocolate. One day, she slipped inside through an open window and got lost. The family laid a path of Kit-Kats and almonds leading to the tree outside. She followed the trail and safely returned to her cozy treehouse.

3. Rain and the Cat

On a stormy night, a drenched, shivering cat meowed in the cold. A kind woman brought her inside, gave her warmth, but sadly, the cat didn’t survive. Heartbroken, the woman buried her in the garden with flowers. Moved by love, she later adopted three more cats — giving them a forever home.

4. A Frog Inside the Home

Mr. Frog came into the house with a potted spider plant. At night, he hopped out, startling the children. They climbed onto the sofas, screaming, while Mr. Frog only wanted to find the way back out. They opened a window, and he leaped his way to freedom — toward the park and pond he came from.

5. Robin’s Friend

Robin dreamed of building his dream house. After much thought, he chose wood for its warmth over cold bricks. When it was done, the house was beautiful — but lonely. So he invited friends for a sleepover. They loved it so much, they built their own houses nearby. Still feeling alone, Robin made a deal with a rabbit: “Bring me nuts, and I’ll stay forever,” the rabbit said. So began a warm friendship filled with shared snacks and laughter.

6. The Speed

Driving always looked fun — until Cris tried it. Holding the steering wheel was exciting, but real roads were nothing like simulators. Confusing the accelerator and brake was easy, but sudden stops were scary. In the end, he decided: he preferred the passenger seat — for now.

7. Wait!

Stress whispered in Cris’s ears, telling him to rush through everything. He heard voices in the stars, strange and demanding. But with time, the pressure faded, and peace returned. He realized some feelings are just passing clouds — and calm always comes after the storm.

8. Digital Planet

In a world filled with screens and noise, Cris noticed how broken phones seemed to reflect broken hearts. Each crack told a story. Digital life wasn’t always easy — but through art, he found a way to express what words couldn’t.

9. What It’s Like to Be a Flower

A flower blooms in quiet strength. It doesn’t need to speak to bring joy. In its scent and color, it carries hope, freshness, and a smile for every eye. Cris sketched them often — not just for beauty, but for their silent resilience.

10. Sarah’s Dream

Sarah dreamed she was a bird, flying across snowy peaks and green valleys. She made friends in the skies and raced to mountain tops. When she woke, she bought a pair of cockatiels and cared for them deeply. One day, she left their cage open, and they flew away. Heartbroken, she adopted a puppy — and he became her loyal companion for life.

11. Mr. Cat

Mr. Cat loved weekends — lazy naps, warm baths, and soft music. But Mondays? Pure chaos. Rushing, forgetting, missing his cookies. Still, at the end of every week, he found joy again in curling up with his favorite woolen ball and resting till Sunday night.

12. Sleeping Cat

She decorated her living room with lush green plants. But after a trip with a friend, she returned to chaos. Her cats had destroyed the plants, and soil covered the carpet. The cats had vanished. Days later, she adopted two calmer cats from a shelter — they preferred sleeping over mischief. Her home was peaceful again.

13. The Kind Thief

One night, a thief broke into a mother’s home. Instead of panicking, she calmly offered him food. He ate in silence, then returned all the valuables. She gave him some money and a warm smile. Touched, he gave up stealing, found work, and wished he could one day tell her how that one act of kindness changed his life forever.

14. Money, Money, Money

Money says, “I’m everywhere—but earning me is the real challenge.”

Guess what? Only a few know how to hold on to me wisely. I’m famous for growing through savings. If you spend me too fast, I may never return. But if you save me, I’ll multiply in your account and offer access to your surplus.

So, handle me with care. I might come and go, or I might disappear, leaving you broke.

Remember—when I arrive and you treat me well, I grow… just like a money tree.

15. The Untraveled Trip

She dreamed of a place where countless trips unfolded—destinations she’d never seen, adventures she’d only imagined.

She longed to escape, to journey far away, but the more she walked, the stranger everything became.

The trip turned haunting. She clutched at nothing and tried to run.

Suddenly, she awoke—in a quiet room, no suitcase, no ticket.

Only a bed. Only stillness.

Was it a dream, or a sign she wasn’t ready to go?

Cris’s doodles weren’t just drawings — they were windows into feelings, fears, joy, and friendship. And maybe, just maybe, we all carry a little bit of Cris inside us — doodling our way through life’s strange and beautiful stories.

If your drawings could come to life just like Cris’s, what would you doodle first—and where would your imagination take you?

Beneath the Neem Tree

Beneath the Neem Tree This story is a reflection of a real place—rooted in memory, love, and quiet moments beneath the shade of a tree that stood for generations. The neem tree at the heart of this story was no ordinary tree. It was a well-known, evergreen beauty—gracefully spreading its branches and standing as the tallest tree in the center of our courtyard. Planted by my grandmother’s father-in-law, it became a living witness to family life, childhood joys, and the passage of time. Though the tree is no longer there, its presence lives on in the memories we carry. In the heart of a noisy, fast-growing city stood an old house, and in the middle of its courtyard grew a neem tree—tall, proud, and deeply rooted in both soil and memory. This neem tree wasn’t planted by chance. It was placed there by my grandmother’s father-in-law, many decades ago, with care and intention. Over the years, it grew into something more than just a tree. Its wide branches spread like arms embracing the house...

The Vacant Room

The Vacant Room Intro: Some doors are better left unopened. In this psychological horror short, a girl named Lisa vanishes inside her own home — only to return changed. What happens in the vacant room stays with her… and maybe with you too. When night falls, the house is swallowed by darkness. Lisa, home alone, walks through the quiet halls of the big, echoing home. Every second, the house seems to whisper — floorboards creak, the lights flicker, and the door to the old west wing bangs open and shut on its own. Curiosity outweighs her fear. Lisa walks to the mysterious door. She opens it… and then suddenly, the house shifts. She’s locked inside. The room is cold and bare, its air thick and wrong. A black cat slinks out of the shadows, meowing sharply, its eyes fixed on her like it knows something. Lisa backs into the corner of the vacant room, trembling, unsure of how she got in… or how to get out. She stays there all night, sweating, shivering, waiting for daylight. Bu...

Lucky Charm

Lucky Charm What would you do if money started appearing out of nowhere — not once, but again and again? Caleb, a gentle and honest soul, finds himself at the center of an unexplained mystery on his terrace. This short story explores wonder, fear, and the quiet magic of life that disappears the moment we try to explain it. C aleb lived a quiet life. He was soft-spoken, gentle, and known in the neighborhood for always telling the truth — even when it didn’t benefit him. His days followed a peaceful rhythm: work in the morning, a jog in the afternoon, and music in the evening. But it was the terrace he loved most. That little open space on the rooftop was his retreat. He’d go up each evening, water the green chilies and baby tomatoes he’d planted in ceramic pots, and sit with a cup of tea, watching the sun slide behind the buildings. The terrace smelled of earth and sky, and to Caleb, that was comfort. One ordinary Tuesday, as he bent down to check on a sprouting tomato plant, he s...
